Hello, and welcome. My name is Morgan, and I am a counseling intern currently studying at Valdosta State University pursing my degree in Clinical Mental Healthcare Counseling.I am passionate about creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. I believe that meaningful change happens within a safe therapeutic relationship, and I strive to meet each client with empathy, authenticity, and respect.
My clinical interests include working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, and identity exploration. I take a collaborative approach to counseling, honoring each client’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals. I aim to help clients build insight, develop effective coping skills, and move toward greater self-awareness and emotional well-being.
As an intern, I am committed to ongoing learning, ethical practice, and reflective growth under supervision. I value cultural humility and recognize the importance of understanding each client within their personal, cultural, and relational context. My goal is to support clients as they work toward meaningful change and a more fulfilling life. When I am not working or in the classroom, I am spending time with my fiancée, two pups, or cozied up with a good book.
